LOVE is a new children’s lifestyle store in Greenwich, Connecticut where discerning parents will discover unique and stylish clothing, furniture, toys and accessories.

LOVE is a tightly edited shop where handmade, supersoft, never-seen-it-before items triumph. Owner and Creative Directors, Kristin Fine and Katie Stein, have built a place they believe will usher in a different kind of retail – a place that embraces parenting and childhood without compromising beauty, freshness and magic. With an eye for detail and quality, Kristin & Katie promise only to sell “stuff we LOVE.” Among LOVE’s treasures are the absolute softest, simplest layette items, eco-friendly and hip furniture, whimsically embroidered baby blankets, clothes for children aged zero to twelve, Dr. Bobby’s pediatric skincare line and a trove of fun accessories and heirloom quality toys that will delight both the young and young-at-heart. Also at hand is a selection of equally gorgeous finds for moms and dads, “because I couldn’t resist,” says Fine. “LOVE is a place for the whole family.”

LOVE is very much an aesthetic experience – and part of that aesthetic is delivered through art. “Art belongs in children’s spaces – children really get it,” Kristin says. To that end, LOVE will offer vintage and new photography from esteemed photographers like Nick Brandt, Kurt Marcus and Lillian Bassman as well as new work from some very moving local artists.

Kristin & Katie hope LOVE will be a place that helps parents connect with each other and with powerful new ideas. LOVE will create and host programming open to the community around pre-eminent child psychologists, feng shui specialists, child nutritionists, art teachers, education experts, pediatricians, authors of children’s books, chefs, and more. Programming will evolve as LOVE comes to life.

...note the headband and Norma Kamali bloomers. Even as a young model traveling the globe, Kristin Fine was keenly attuned to the unique aesthetic of each village and city she visited. She loved, more than anything, to explore the nooks and crannies of a destination – to find its treasures, its artisans, its soul. Kristin brings that same eager appreciation of beauty, of thoughtful detail, and of the artist to Love, her new Greenwich children’s lifestyle boutique.

Kristin hits the ground running with Love, as she is the progeny of a retail family whose breakthrough toy and decorating stores were Greenwich staples. But Love is not a throwback; rather, it is a fresh retail experience inspired by mothers, artists, thinkers, designers, travelers and Kristin's own four children aged 7, 4, 1, and newborn this August.

While Kristin attended Columbia University, she modeled, began an acting career and ran a personal shopping business. Following the birth of her first child, she and her husband, Scott, returned to Connecticut. She recently collaborated with event guru Anthony Todd to create her home’s unique interior sensibility and savored each moment of design, object discovery, and creation. Love will bring these elements together – along with unique insight into the wonder of childhood.
